OMAHA - Hundreds of people in Omaha lined the intersection of 72nd and Dodge streets Friday to protest the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. People began gathering in the area around 6 PM, and crowds had flooded out into the street by 8 PM.
The protest in downtown Omaha followed one that happened hours earlier a few miles away that started peacefully but devolved into clashes between protesters and police.
